Online casino & sports betting reviews · 8+ years

I cover online casinos and betting sites for Canadian players, and I edit every review on Pinco Casino Canada. My background is in odds: before writing, I spent years compiling and trading sports prices, which is why I read bonuses and betting markets the way I do — for the maths, not the marketing.

What I do

My job is simple to describe and slow to do well: open a real account, fund it from my own pocket, claim the bonuses, play across slots, live tables and the sportsbook, then take the money back out. Only after I've been through the full cycle — sign-up, KYC, deposit, play, withdrawal — do I write. That's the only way to tell you what a casino is actually like rather than what its homepage claims.

How I review

  • Bonuses, read in full. I model the wagering, the game weighting and the caps, so a "120% up to C$5,000" headline gets translated into what it's really worth.
  • Payments, timed. I deposit and withdraw on every rail a Canadian would use — Interac, cards, e-wallets and crypto — and record the real clock, not the advertised one.
  • Games, sampled widely. I check RTP labels, demo high-volatility titles and confirm the studios behind the lobby are certified.
  • Safety, scrutinised. Licensing, encryption, fair-play tooling and the responsible-gambling controls all get checked before I recommend anything.

Where to start

If you want my work in one place: read my promotions breakdown for the bonus maths, my slots deep-dive for the lobby, my sportsbook review for the betting, and my payments guide for how fast you actually get paid.

A note on responsibility

I review gambling products, so I'll always say this plainly: gambling is entertainment, not income. I push for clear terms, honest odds and the tools that keep play in check — deposit limits, session caps and self-exclusion. If it ever stops being fun, the right move is to step away and use the responsible gambling tools. Service is for adults only, 19+.
